Val loves a good cause and a good afternoon cookie. She is a “tough-as-nails” closer on the phone. Before working at C+C, Val studied at the University of Washington and held several internships in public relations, event planning and program coordination at local organizations such as the Burke Museum, Foundation for International Understanding through Students and Washington Wine Country. At C+C she is involved with a wide variety of tasks from coordinating client services to pitching media, writing press materials to performing media research. Val’s clients include the Woodland Park Zoo, EPA’s WaterSense program, the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival, Simpson Strong-Tie and the King County Regional Recycling Campaign.
