C+C turned the local spotlight to King County’s EcoConsumer, Tom Watson, to promote Earth Day by taking a trip to the local landfill and showing the community the sheer volume of recyclables that are ending up in the waste stream. Watch the news report from KING 5.

C+C promoted deck safety for Simpson Strong-Tie on The Today Show by building and collapsing a structurally-flawed deck as part of Today’s Consumer Smarts segment. SST’s Ricardo Arevalo highlighted five deck safety tips and showed viewers how to tell if their deck is unsafe. Click here to watch the story.

“Go BECU Tour” Gets an A+ at Local Colleges. C+C recently helped BECU launch its first-ever “Go BECU Tour” at four Puget Sound-area college campuses to celebrate International Credit Union Week. See the KOMO-TV story here.

 

C+C helped organize an Earth Day event with Administrator Jackson and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America on the National Mall. The Administrator helped the kids learn about energy efficiency to get them ready to conduct and energy efficiency service project in their own community.
