Waste Management Joe
In fall 2011, Waste Management approached C+C to help develop a new, fun and memorable way to encourage their customers to recycle more. C+C created Waste Management Joe, a truck driver and psychiatrist who helps the Smith family learn to recycle better with some unorthodox but effective treatment strategies. C+C wrote, casted, shot and edited the off-kilter series of four online videos, which premiered in December 2011 along with online ads in several Seattle publications. In just the first month the videos were viewed more than 3,000 times and the campaign garnered 19 media hits and created a buzz on Facebook and Twitter.
